Durdle Door Holiday Park Dorset
Durdle Door Holiday Park can be found right on the Jurassic Coast and close to the famous Durdle Door, the unique rock formation that attracts thousands of visitors every year.
The park has three areas dedicated to camping,Abbeyfield,Eypeside and a wooded area suited for smaller tents.
Abbeyfield has pre allocated pitches with access to 16amp electric hook up,hot water, and grey waste water hook up.
The Eypeside area is an open field with water points, toilets showers and dish washing facilities.
The rest of the site is occupied by privately owned caravan holiday homes some of which can be leased on a short term basis through the site's letting office.
The site has a bar and restaurant, laundry, gas bottle exchange,a shop, showers and toilets. There is a woodland play area for children.
Tariffs for camping start at £10 in March rising to £70 for mid summer weekends from 23rd July to 22nd August 2010.
Rates are higher again if you want a premium pitch with electric and water hook up.
Apart from the park amenities it's best feature is the proximity to Durdle Door and the South West Coastal Path which is just a few minutes away.
A steep descent however so you will need energy to get back up again.
