Smugglers Inn:if your are tall then duckThe Smugglers Inn (DT3 6HF) is right on the coast at Osmington Mills just to the east of Weymouth on the Jurassic Coast 
If you are coming from Weymouth on the A353 turn right as you leave the village of Osmington.There is actually a brown sign showing the way to the pub.You pass two camp sites on the right then descend a steep hill towards the coast.When you reach the coast you will see the pub on the left below you,with the car park straight ahead.On busy days this can get full so be prepared to turn round and go back up the hill past where the parking restrictions end and leave your car by the side of the road. The first thing you will notice as you enter the pub is how low the ceiling is so if you are tall,keep you head down.The pub has quite a spooky atmosphere with candles on each table and very little light coming through the windows. A problem they have is taking food and drink orders at the same place so if all you want is a pint you can be waiting along time.When you get to the bar to order food it is a bit on the pricey side. Still a good base to go down onto the beach below and do some fossil hunting.Good views of Portland too.
