The Saxon Inn Child OkefordThe Saxon Inn Child Okeford DT11 8DH is a free house set in the Blackmore Vale to the west of Blandford The bar is quite small but has two sizeable areas for eating.The menu is mainly meat based but you can get veggie stuff too.When I was there I had the pumpkin soup which was good but I could have done with a larger portion. Beers are Ringwood,Butcombe (Bristol) and Otter beer which comes from Devon.There is a car park at the rear though not that big and the pub is approached down a narrow drive way.So may be better to park in the street. Large undercover area outside at the back if you are a smoker.
