Honeybrook Farm: raises the bar with Farm Shops

Honeybrook Farm,1.5 miles north of Wimborne is not just a farm shop. It offers alot more.You can find it off the B3078 road to Cranborne.Post code is BH21 4JD.

The shop sells it's own eggs,milk from the farm cows and seasonal fruit and vegetables.

There is also a butcher selling free range beef and pork fed on grass and chemical free feed.

The cafe serves coffee and cakes and will even make you a packed lunch if you want to walk around the 84 acre farm,part of the Gaunts Estate.Trail maps are available in the shop.

If you are coming with children the farm boasts has a giant playground area. Tractor rides are always popular as is meeting the farm animals.

Workshops teaching various crafts such as chair or bird box making are available and hosted by the resident warden Claire Richards .Contact her on 01202 88120 for dates and to book.

They will even host birthdays parties with meals provided at £9.95 per head.If you bring your own food the room hire is £45.

The farm is open Tuesday to Sunday with ample parking for coaches and cars .All they ask for is a donation of £2.50,well worth it.
