Gillingham Camping at Coking Farm Fishery:bring your laptop too

If you want a quieter camping experience near Gillingham in north Dorset and a site without acres of static holiday homes, this one is for you.

Set just off the A30 7 miles west of Shaftesbury this site is part of the Coking Farm Fishery where you can enjoy some fishing for carp as well as a site which enjoys electric hook up drainage a shower and toilet block. The site boast five big fish lakes between 2.5 and 4.5 acres.

You can book either a day or overnight pitch should you wish to fish.You can even join in on match days.

The site has WiFi so bring your laptop.Camp fires are not allowed and you must be affiliated to a recognised camping association.

Even better if you want to be away from screaming kids,none are allowed here given the nature of the adjoining fishery.

Gillingham is only a few miles away ,having it's own rail connection to London Waterloo.
