Exeter Airport: easy in,easy out.

The airport is similar to Bournemouth & Southampton in that nearly all of it's destinations are in Europe but you can also get here from Toronto Canada, May to October.This service is offered by Air Transat,but go to the Canadian Affair website for booking details.

The site is located five miles to the East of the city on the A30 and close to junction 29 of the M5 . Whilst it has no train connection it is well served by taxis and buses.Hertz and Avis car hire are represented here.It by taking the A30 going east that you soon leave Devon and enter Dorset.

As with any regional airport do not expect a massive retail experience.There is the usual duty free as well as coffee shop bar and restaurant.

For parking the cheapest are car parks three and four which if you book in advance are £60 for 7/8 days.These car parks are further away from the terminal building.For the one closest the terminal the charge is £65 for the same period.

The airport is due for expansion so expect further destinations to be added.I hope this also includes an expansion of the facilities which are now inadequate for the number of people using the airport.Go to the Syntax website for reviews by some punters who have passed through.
