The Crown Alvediston near Salisbury is a gem though hard to get to.Best way is off the A30 Salisbury to Shaftesbury road.

The pub has accommodation and you can book by calling 01722 780335.A good sized car park at the back otherwise on the road is OK.

The pub is a free house and is currently selling Ringwood.

Very popular with the Ritchies I am told before their little bust up,as their mega pad was just down the road.Even Brad Pitt has been spotted here.Could be just a rural myth though.Lovely open fire to warm you up in the winter time.

Low ceiling so mind your head.
