Castle Inn West Lulworth:ideal for Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door
The Castle Inn West Lulworth is a traditional family-run 16th Century thatched freehold pub and hotel with an extensive food menu and regularly changing local real ales, near the beautiful Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door of the Jurassic Coastline.
The Castle Inn has been run by the Halliday family for over 26 years, and this trend is unlikely to end any time soon! Dogs are very welcome within the pub and hotel.
The real ales include Studland Bay Wrecked which I can personally vouch for as being a good pint. The pub also has accommodation ranging in price from £30 per night for a basic room with shared bathroom to £79 per night for a double or twin room with en suite bathroom.
The pub is on the right as you come down the hill into West Lulworth.Don't go right down to
if you do you have gone too far.If you are staying here park your car and walk down to the cove. You will avoid paying the rip off parking charges.
The pub is great place to explore the
with a walk westwards to Durdle Door being one of the highlights.
